The loss of 0.112 hectares of native vegetation that:
- Is mapped as floristic community type SCP 30a 'Callitris preissii (or Melaleuca lanceolata) forests and woodlands, Swan Coastal Plain', which is a threatened ecological community.
- Is located within Bush Forever Site 341
- is considered to contain a high level of biodiversity due to the presence of a threatened ecological community.

2. Rehabilitation and weed control plan
(a) In relation to the area hatched red on attached Plan 5087/3 the Permit Holder must implement and adhere to the Woodman Point Offset Site Weed and Rehabilitation Management Plan, 301012-01806-Rev 1, 6 December 2013.
(b) If it is necessary to modify the Weed and Rehabilitation Management Plan, then the Permit Holder must provide the modified Weed and Rehabilitation Management Plan to the CEO and seek the CEO’s approval.

Rationale:

The offset site is located on the same property as the clearing area. The offset site is located within the mapped boundary of the same threatened ecological community (TEC) that was cleared and is also within the same Bush Forever site.

The proposed offset will mitigate the residual impacts by improving the condition of the TEC and Bush Forever site. If management activities are not conducted within the offset site it is expected that it will degrade futher due to the presence of aggressive weeds.

Treatment (physical and chemical) of introduced weed species.

Monitoring of native vegetation recruitment and survival rates, and community biodiversity

Monitoring of pest fauna activity

Completion Criteria - After 5 years of completing weed and rehabilitation activities within the Offset site, the community structure in native perennial flora species diversity and coverage (%) shall be on a trajectory towards that existing on comparable land that has not been disturbed prior.

Weed control - Four times a year (May, June, November and December) for 5 years
